The Private Water Fisheries

The Ruby River-The Ruby is a teriffic, small meadow river. Lilly and Kemph use several sections of the Lower Ruby.

McCoy’s Spring Creek-Located just north of Dillon, Montana, McCoy’s Spring Creek is the consummate “Match the Hatch” spring creek.

Alber’s Spring Creek-This is another very challenging spring creek. Lilly & Kemph have exclusive use of this creek.

The South Boulder River- This small meadow stream is a tributary of the Jefferson River and because it is kept cool by many fresh water springs you will find some fine mid summer dry fly fishing with attractor dries and hoppers.

The Upper Clark’s Fork- Lilly & Kemph have the use of four miles of the Upper Clark’s Fork. In the early to mid season this stretch of the river can produce some big browns.

Flint Creek- Lilly & Kemph work with a rancher who owns several miles of Flint Creek. In 2007, for the first time, we shared this little river with a number of our clients.

The Gund Ranch-For a number of years Lilly & Kemph have worked with a good friend, Dennis Rehse, manager of this ranch to put clients onto some of the largest rainbows, brook trout and brown trout in Montana. The ranch has three spring ponds ranging in size from a couple of acres to eleven acres.

Circle 3 Ranch-Lilly & Kemph Outfitting are proud to be the exclusive outfitter on this ranch. There is a beautiful spring creek and several miles of the famous Beaverhead River available to us between Dillon and Twin Bridges. The Circle 3 is a testament to what is possible when you marry fishing, hunting and agriculture. You have a chance at a trophy trout here in a gorgeous Montana ranch setting.

All private waters do involve an additional rod fee per angler. The rod fees are not part of your guided fishing rate. Fees will vary from $75 to $125 per angler per day depending upon the stream or ranch fished.
